I just had the Mirena removed today (Thank GOD) it was VERY hard for the doctor to locate it because my cervix is tilted. I almost had to go to the OR to have it removed but he found it and said that the strings were very short. It was painful to remove. I am still having sharp pains but they are not as frequent.
