Help!
Hi Dr. Hardy,
I have been going through some strange symptoms for 3 and a half months and don't know what direction to take. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a strange run of symptoms that I don't know if they are your
input as I am starting to become very concerned.
It all started Mid April when I fell at the gym and sprained my
ankle. That night I took a darvecet and the next day ibuprofin. The
next night I started breaking out in a rash that looked very much
like a scarlet fever type rash. After a week on benedryl with no
improvement I went to the doctor who said it was a drug interaction
and put me on hydrocortizone cream and anti itch pill. Didn't help. A
few days later I awoke and my face was very swollen and I was having
a little difficuly swallowing. I went to the emergency room and was
put on steroids and against my better judgement took them for the
five day course, The side effects were awful. Racing Heart, Hair
loss, blurred vision, could not sleep for five days and very high
blood pressure which I have never had. I should also mention I have
been hypothyroid for years and take armour thryoid 30mg 2 times a
day. Itch still there. I was sleeping with a bag of frozen
brusslesprouts on my neck to try and get even a couple of hours sleep a
night. The doctor had run blood work that showed antibodies to strep
throat. My husband had had it a week or so before all this happened
and I had a sore throat a few days into this. I thought the itching
at this point was allergies to food or intolerance so had my blood
serum done. Showed minor intolerance to sugar and that was it. I had
stopped eating sugar and wheat when this started because after the
steroids I was so tired that I was told may be adrenal and was eating
steamed veges and lean protein and taking adranal support
supplement. I also went to the allergist and had scratch test done
and showed no allergies to any food.
June 20 I had blood tested and showed candida in its first form and
trouble digesting protein and colin toxicity. I started candida diet,
I do eat one piect of millet flatbread, the rest vegies and protein
and various candida suplements: garlic oregano oil grapefruitseed
extract, coconut oil. I bought sf722.
I started takin glutamine and guecertin for leakygut and digestive
enzymes enzimatica brand gold digest on June 20.
July 8 or so I started whey inulin selenium probiotic
protocal. Terrible gas at first but that seems to be getting better
esp if I put it into 2 doses and take a probiotic with it. My
problems now are occasional constipation since starting the candida
diet June 20, and my bowel movements (Sorry) are a sage green color
with still undigested fiber I think. In the past couple of days
started also taking applecider vinegar in water with enzymes before
eating. My stomach sometimes feels like it is getting an ulcer but it
is fine in the morning and if it was an ulcer I would think it
would bother me first thing in the morning after being empty all
night. Sometimes is is fine. Also I think the vinegar before meals
would bother it if it was an ulcer. I also ended up with a bladder
infection a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't had one in years since I
had told the doctors no more antibiotics which I was on for a couple
of years and finally got rid of it naturally.
I still get jumping stinging itch sometimes and always for awhile
after I shower. I am hoping that all of these problems are die off or
Maybe has some suggestions for me. I also take a green drink,
alkanalizing drops in my water, coral calcium, vitamin c 2000 a day,
fish oil 3 large capsules 2 to three times a day, molybdenum,
hawthorne, milkthisle, a bcomplex, tyrosine for my thyroid, 500 mg 1
or 2 times a day, grapeseed extract(antioidant), natural calm
magnesium supplement and aloe with h202 in it along with the candida
supplements and Whey protocol. My main concern is the constipation
and sage green color stool and on and off stomach pain. Sometimes it
is a brownish green. Can I be taking to many things?
I am sorry this is so long but I know it helps Duncan if we are as
thourough as we can be. If I think of anything else I will add it
later.
The itch concerns me because I don't know if it a liver problem or something even more serious, and my left eyslid is starting to feel crawly. My psoriasis is getting worse, so I am hoping all this is maybe a healing crisis? But it having started as a rash leaves me completly at a loss.
Was wondering if maybe I have a blocked bile duct. Is there a less intensive liver flush? I don't feel strong enough to face a full blown flush and I keep reading that they are not that safe or good for you.
Thanks so much.
