Testing the toxin-removing theory
Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if this have ever been tested, but I know one of the major theories regarding oil pulling's effectiveness is that it removes toxins from the blood.
This has never been proven scientifically, but I think I may have found a way to test out this theory.
If you were to ingest a moderate amount of alcohol and wait to feel the effects (which would prove that it is in the bloodstream) and then oil pull for 20 minutes, you could measure the amount of alcohol in the oil after you spit it out.
Of course, it would be best to repeat the experiment exactly a few times to test it out as well as measure the amount of alcohol in the oil before pulling.
I just thought it would be interesting and I will be thinking of a way to measure the amount of alcohol in the oil and will post back when I find a solution.
Let me know what you guys think :)
