Re: Menopause...or Mean-o-pause?

' i would say that the Iodine is over stimulating the pituitary and producing more FSH than usual.'
My intuition sent up a flare when I read this.

I am in the right age range - 50 and still cycling - my skin is behaving like it did in teens and twenties, as my first period on Iodine and this one coming on is shaping up to be.
My hair on the other hand is softer, silkier and yet less oily than it has been. My scalp does not itch if I wait several or even many days to shampoo - just rinsing with water is plenty. I have put off the bleaching to see what is happening color and texture wise. Even on raw I lose almost no hair.

I was losing a much more noticeable amount before iodine, that is for sure - my old normal.

I had a distinct thought today that my 'normal' is changing.
