...and I would like to add:

As TRUE pioneers we should strive to avoid the pitfalls and mistakes that the world of health has fallen into over the centuries. We have the responsibility to research fully and report honestly...no matter how much we like the outcome of our research. That is something that modern medicine has failed at for many lifetimes...and they've failed miserably (to the detriment of seveal generations of people).

I don't yet know (nor may I ever, as one woman, be able to "know) what the long-term effects of Iodine supplementation are. But I do know one thing...as a pioneer I want to report everything I see and experience honestly & accurately.
