maybe tomorrow or in a month. if they don't have or file for dea registration or an extension until they get registration_i.e. they sell as long as they are planning to comply_and they continue to sell without identifying their customers with specific documentation and record keeping and reporting, they will be in violation of the new rule. how long will that continue? your guess is as good as mine. i bet that once their lawyers are asked to respond by the sales dept or versa visa everyone will know exactly what to do.
