Thanks for sharing your story. I had mine out just over three weeks ago and am wondering when I'll ever get my read period again, lost the 20 lbs I've put on, lose my "teenage" acne, etc.

You are giving me hope that I will get back to normal in a few months. I am lucky that I have good health insurance so I didn't have to pull my own out. A nurse practicioner at the ob/gyn did it since my doc was on vacation and I didn't want to wait another week.

I had horrible cramps and diarrhea last night. I felt so awful that we actually left a restaurant before our entrees arrived. It was so bad that 4 Advil did not help. I spent the rest of the night lying with a heating pad on my stomach drinking peppermint tea. My dh was great and just staying in bed with me watching movies. I hope that I get my sex drive back since he has really been ignored physically for awhile. Tweet
