Thank you. That was very informative. I still have questions.

Does slippery elm knock out the acid in the stomach? I read that Native Americans ate this bark when they had no food to eat, which tells me that it must neutralize the acid and thus make you less hungry. Am I making sense?

Please let me know so I could use this herb myself.
