how long does it take for the average person to get rid of the problem bromine?

How long does it take for the average person to get rid of the problem bromine? and do we have to get rid of chlorine and fluorine separately or are those automatically gone if the problem bromine is gone? Does each halogen give separate symptoms when detoxing or are they all pretty much the same? On 1 Iodoral per day will this process probably take months or years. I notice some of you folk are taking a lot of Iodoine either has drops of Lugol's or Iodoral tablets or both. Is that just a temporary measure to detox or do you plan to keep on doing that permanently? Can the Iodine itself cause a problem at some point? Is there really any way in nature that we would be getting as high doses of Iodine as some in this forum are taking and is that a cause for concern? or is it just an extreme measure being used for a short time to correct an extreme problem? Some one said his or her skin was turning darker or browner from the iodine. Is that safe? And will the Iodine we build up through this process stay with us permanently or me displaced or lost over time? How much is enough? Is the rule of thumb that we will start sneezing a lot and or have an unusual amount of nasal fluid if we get too much iodine, a safe rule to go by? I am very interested in this and very curious about it. I think this forum is on to something very important and I am trying to educate myself about it.
