Yea, I am kind of afraid of leaving them alone when they are cracking and bleeding. When I was a child I usually would just lick my lips when they cracked and bled and didn't put on moisturizers. Ever since then, every few days my lips will bleed, those cracks on my lips just won't heal. So I'm not sure what would happen if I were to totally stay away from liquids.
