I too have felt your frustration. I Had my IUD out Two weeeks ago today. I have had more energy, not ONE headache, I don't think I am as moody and my fiance and I have had intercoarse 3 times in week!!! For about a year and a half he would be lucky to get sex three times a month. Not to be noisy but I am from Canada so I am unaware of how much it costs for a simple removal??? You are young and I truly believe that this IUD has many side effects that WILL NOT GET BETTER. I did not recognize anything for over a year then slowly I notices many changes. I had headaches almost always. I gained 12 pounds and no matter what, I could not lose even 1 pound. I am sorry that you feel trapped by your lack of insurance......if I could help you, I would.
