Candida back with a vengence
Hi everyone,
havent posted for a while because I was blocked out after the 'crash' and couldn't get my password. AOL must have been blocking it (apparently it treats Curezone emails as SPAM!} Just managed to get it though, so here I am with my sad tale.
I spent three years on the candida diet, got nice and slim (too thin?), symptoms almost nil. Did P&B shakes at intervals, took supplments, did oregano oil, garlic, aloe vera, EV Coconut oil, etc etc.
THen last Christmas I decided to give myself a break for CHristmas day and Boxing day, and have christmas pudding (gluten free), and a treat or two, such as gluten free mince pie with cream, and I had gravy on my xmas dinner. Yes, I know, I know.
This was the springboard to six months of being unable to put the brakes on my cravings. I have gained over a stone in weight, all my symptoms are back, raging. I have felt totally out of control with my eating, even more than I was before I began the candida diet in the first place.
I am very depressed bout this and cry a lot. I have thrown three years away, and now have to start again. (Ive spent today flat out, too weak to do anyting, thanks to candida).
Not only am I depressed that I let the beast back in, I am despressed that after three years it was still able to get me in its grip to such an extent for the crime of a bit of xmas pudding and a mince pie.
My question to you all is: Has anyone ever got rid of this thing? Am I on this strict and excrutiating regime for the rest of my life? I know some of you don't seem to mind the candida protocol, but I do. If I could eat grains other than those containing gluten it would be a great help to me, but I cannot even tolerate buckwheat let alone brown rice.
Last question after my moan is, has anyone tried Candigest Plus? It claims to kill it stone dead over a period of time (which is fine, I'm used to that), but without any die off symptoms. Anyone used it? If so, what did you think?
And please, please, don't anyone reply with 'It serves you right.' I couldn't cope with it. Not until I'm back on my feet, anyway!
