My understanding is that Azure bags or re-bags products from other farms into their own labled bags. This may, as you pointed out lead to questions about the product.

It does say right on the page to "Use according to recipe or as a seasoning in soups, stews, salads, or at the table." and it is Laminaria digitata.

I have about 20 pounds of kelp at home right now so I just ordered a 5 pound bag and I will see what I get :-) If I do not use it for myself the plants and animals will be happy. I also emailed Thorvin for information again.
