Re: Natural cosmetics for oily acne-prone skin

Hey peenut,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Here is mine. Last Friday I got liquid Bentonite clay and put it on my face overnight. My face looked much better, but as soon as I washed the mask in the morning all the redness would come back.
This week I decided to get Bentonite clay in powder (by the way, it is white) and organic apple cider vinegar. I probably did not stir it well enough, so it was in clumps. Anyway,I put it on my face and kept it for 30 minutes. You are right about washing it off, it really takes a lot of time. But my face was sooo read that I got scared I did something wrong to it. Overnight the face lost the redness and came to normal.
Last night I just mixed the powder with water and applied it for 30 minutes; it worked much better.
Sorry forgot to mention, yesterday before the Bentonite mask, I put honey on the whole face for 30 minutes. Some people are just allergic to it, but for me it was OK.

Still waiting for all my formulas and vitamin B5 to show up.

Good luck to you.
Just a woman.

PS there is another forum on Acne on healthboards.com, and even though it has a lot of messages, I like this one better.
Please go there and read about B5 because different people have different experience.
