Re: why do i "cheat"!!!!
I don't know how long you've been coming to curezone yet, but for me, it took time to pound this stuff into my tiny brain. I'd say months before it really clicked. And that was after reading tons and tons of stuff. It took work.
I am not perfect. No one on here actually is when they choose to admit it.
It's a mindset. The more you read, the more you understand. The more you understand, these effects will begin to manifest in your choices. For a while I was very rigid in my eating habits. I've relaxed quite a bit, but some things are now not part of my diet anymore at all. Things like milk and pork. I only eat organic and because the grass fed beef is so expensive, I don't eat much of that. My whole family has benefited from this, but they still come home with bags of Doritos. I can't believe my shock when I see that in the house, and my husband is starting to get it. This is so vastly different from a year ago, but I think it takes awhile to become habit.
So, don't beat yourself up at all. Here is a link to an article by a man I respect greatly. It is very well written and clear. I showed it to my 15 year old and he got it immediately...I personally have followed a great deal of what Owen has written.
