Re: Problems after first flush...and a little history

Dear BLL

<<<<<Gallstones before, so I don't know if the feeling is stuck stones or some other liver damage<<<<<<<<

First of all, what yu describe should NOT worry you a lot. However, your elevated liver enzymes should do. Do you have a good milk thistle prepartion in the US. Sorry, I live in Europe, so I don't know.
Try to get as quickly as possible a milk thistle preparation that really contains a standardized amount of the so called silymarines. This preparation can never be cheap because it takes a very sophiscated procedure to isolate these precious compounds. So buy it by all means in a pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist beforehand. He should have some knowledge in this respect. And in order not to further stress your budget too much get turmeric as a poweder (very delicious on pasta), ginger and also some cayenne. Put all these in your meals, as much as you can stand.
A real good liver morning mix would be as follows:
One garlic clove, a glas of orange juice, a small teaspoon of ginger, a small teaspoon of tumric, one tablespoon of olive oil and a little bit of cayenne.
If garlic is socially incompatible for you you can skip it.
Probiotics will NOT help you a lot because your problem is most likely located in the liver. Another very effective trick is one tablespoon olive oil mixed with the same amount of lemon juice taken first thing in the morning. You have to take care that the bile starts flowing. And to get to this point the liver sometimes needs some provocation. As a matter of fact I would take it as a good sign that your liver started "screeming". It shows that something is moving in this organ. However take it slowly but regularly. Another Liver-Flush would be too harsh for you at this point My two cent.
