The connection for me in some ways is that these micro organisms and pathogens exist and Lugol's has had a history of being disinfectant. By inference, and using Jarvis'
language of soil to imply any medium in which illness can take root, the body is the
earth and water needing disinfecting when pathogens have established themselves. What is interesting is the level of alkalinity at which these organism thrive and the possible correspondence to their thriving in our bodies when the conditions are likewise right or ripe (take your pick).
