Re: Women adult acne
Hello everybody,
Thanks for your advice. I have not tried contraceptive Diane 35 yet, and yes, I have insisted on getting ultrusound test, even though the doctor said I am not a typical polycistic ovary syndrom patient ( to him I don't have to much hair and I am not overweight). I am going for the test next week.
I am more inclined to do some body cleaning than finding another medicine.
I have read all
recommended messages from this site and am thinking about stopping applying
Antibiotics to my face because I just recently had yeast infection.
I was using Zinerit (erythromicin) by Yamamuchi company that was recommended by my derm in Russia. It really worked great on my back. I also applied it to my face, but it got worse and worse since last summer. If before I had just few painful bumps and was able to cover them up, now I have like 20 red ones that hurt, sometimes burst and leave blue marks along my jaw line along with clogged pores. When I wash my face, I feel the skin is not smooth. My skin is very oily, I feel like an oil manufactury :)
As I said in the previous message the local physician prescribed to me other
Antibiotic (clyndomicin or somethin like that) and Retin-A (one of its derivatives).
He also warned me it will get worse. I have been on that for few days and I don't sleep well at night because my face itches. And the face does look worse.
My diet is relatively good: minimum 8-10 glasses of water and herbal tea, no sweets (yeast loves to thrive on sugars), no beef, sometimes chicken, a lot of vegetables and some fruit ( again yeast likes fruit sugars) either, plain yougurt, and some bread and tortillas.
I take a lot of vitamins and herb supplements and am not sure if I do right to my body (One for women, B-6, B-12, C, E, Evening Primrose oil, odorless garlic, Zinc). I noticed that it upsets my stomach in the morning.
If I remember I take acidophilus at night.
I feel like I have lost some weight, but it is OK as long as it helps to improve my skin condition.
I will stay in touch with you. And thanks again for your support.
L., just a woman.
