Re: Gingivitis and OP...

i don't think it is good to expect magic from
anything - i mean - if you have a problem, you
probably aren't brushing THOROUGHLY 2-3x daily
(use a Sonicare if at all possible - and do 2 min
x 12 areas - 24 minutes total - tops of teeth,
inside/outide - all four quadrants), probably
aren't flossing WELL daily, probably aren't
water-piking (1 shot of bleach per quart is good)
after everything you put in your mouth other than
water, and probably are eating things with sugar
and flour. i think it is also good to have a set
of dental piks, and to make sure no calculus builds
up anywhere on your teeth. for extra whitening and
bacterial control, make a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide
solution, and swish with it while you shower, and
after brushing - use 1% if 1.5% is too strong.

i don't use dentists in over 25 years, and
i can promise you - teeth need an hour of
attention everyday - or you will lose them.
teeth are a pain in the ass! but we are
stuck with them - or without them! :)

i think it is good to read the information
at the
http://www.westonaprice.org/
website,
do a search for "teeth" and read the articles.
