Re: Interesting response...but not at all 'on topic' to the question. Re: Jeff/jcrows...I ask that you PLEASE...Re: The Salter's and Iodine displacement
Salt can be used in healing, we know that. It simply represents one of the six tastes. Its not a matter of belief. The other five tastes are sweet, sour, pungent, bitter and astringent.
I am unaware of a constant regime in the Tibetan tradition that calls for endless
long term "salt flushing".
My understanding of
Iodine and its relationship to the halogens comes from Dr. Jarvis and his way of communicating a method for good health.
You can point to all the statistics you like but health is something more than that.
100 million people could be wrong.
Health depends on the elements of which there are generally considered to be
five: earth, water, fire, wind and space. When the elements are out of sync as it relates to your individual condition your energy is diminished and one opens oneself to disease.
Again, salt is one taste out of five.
Iodine is a salt. Potassium
Iodide is a salt.
They are salty in taste not sweet.
The tastes and the desire for different tastes also correspond to the elements
mentioned earlier.
