Our Lugol's is USP or Higher. We have good reliable sources and our service is
prompt. We have been selling Lugol's for over 15 years. Many of the links listed in unyquity's post are obsolete and the information incorrect. I wouldn't use aquarium supplies for myself. Dr. Clark's disciples have been offering an adulterated dilute sodium Iodine product for over a year, calling it Lugol's something, which does not have potassium Iodide in it. Finally we have great information at our site by Dr. D. C Jarvis that can't be found anywhere else on the internet.

I have been posting DEA updates to this forum as I become aware of them.
When the new regulations go into effect we will offer what is allowed without
prescription or regulation at a very fair price in that instance as well. For users of Lugol's, when the new DEA regulations are in effect,it will simply mean using more in the new dilute format. It will still be an Iodine and potassium Iodide mixture, not a sodium/iodine mixture as the Clark people are offering_which is a completely different animal. The new regulations will allow single transaction sales of 1 oz bottles of the original formula and one could add it to the dilute
version (unrestricted sales will be allowed) thereby increasing the strength.

Whether correct or not, unyquity enjoy's her unique position of being able to out-footnote anyone with a flourish of great precision and intelligence.
