Re: your story...and the Cipro thing
sorry to hear you have had such a tough time. thank god for your one healthy baby though. at one point i was scared i would never get my period back or be able to have children, but now i know i am gonna be just fine. i think
Iodine could probably do you a world of good but i have no testimonial yet so i don't like to offer advice yet when it comes to taking iodine. i am also not sure about the alcoholic tincture?? are you talking about lugols? i take
Lugols internally but may start trying to use it on my skin for hyperpigmentation and scar treatments. most people on here do a combination of both painting and taking it internally but from what i have read, just painting is not going to get that much
Iodine in you. you hardly absorb any of it. i think wombat posted something about this and she knows her stuff so i would definitely take advice from her.
read my response to just-n above...it is very long but it goes into a little more detail about my health and the cipro.
basically now i am healing thru the basics and that is by cleansing the elimination organs (kidney, liver, bowels) and taking iodine. i also oil pull to treat my receding gums, i take cayenne tincture for digestion, and i take alternating hot and cold showers every morning before work to stimulate circulation. they suck, but sometimes we gotta do things that we don't like in order to get better. i did my first
Liver Flush a few weeks ago and i am doing my second this weekend. this was HUGE when it came to helping my
food sensitivities . just one flush produced many stones and my allergies are much less severe. i suspect a few more will have most of them cleared up and it will make cleansing and getting nutrients back in me much easier.
as for the cipro thing...
check out these links and you can read all about the adverse reactions it can cause...many of the people experience a delayed reaction where they take the cipro or any of the other fluoroquinolones and they feel fine and then like 6 month later their health crashes. this is actually very common and most had this happen to them. many of my symptoms didn't start until a couple of months down the road as well like my cracking and popping joints. two years later and they are still going at it but they are much better. i also have right sided symptoms...very strange but most of my symptoms, aches and pains all stay on just the right. i am now wondering if this is liver related. but it isn't just my right shoulder and my back. it is from head to toe on the right side.
here are just a few links...

there is so much more info out there on the web if you just google "cipro adverse reaction" or "fluoroquinolone adverse reaction."
i read on those yahoo boards that most of them are hypothyroid. this is all because of the fluoride poisoning. i never put the connection together until i found out about
Iodine and all the halogens.
hope this helps and if you do believe cipro caused a lot of your problems...it is definitely because of the fluoride and you should definitely consider iodine supplementation.
