I've been doing The Master Cleanse for 19 days now. My intention is to go for 40 days. My question is that I'm working out and burning anywhere between 400 - 700 calories daily. Between walking my puppy for bathroom breaks, swimming and run/walking for 30 minutes it adds up. I'm concerned that I'm not ingesting enough calories with 12 drinks. The Maple syrup, lemons add up to 1300 daily. I understand we need to maintain 1200 for bodies to function. Should I be drinking more lemonade or adding more syrup, to make sure my calorie deficit doesn't fall below 500 - 750? My current BMR is 1672 cals.
I don't want to slow down my metabolism, not just because of weight loss, but I'm actively working out and don't want to cut back on my cardio/miles.
