Does Time of Day Matter?

Does the time of day that one does the flush effect the success of the flush?

Most people in this forum do the evening flush. A few people do the flush in the morning, after 8 hours of not eating (having just woken up).

Does doing the flush first thing in the morning compromise the effectiveness of the flush?

I'd prefer to do it in the morning, if there's no physical reason not to.
