Re: quote from PhD on her opinion of iodine therapy, and question.

Trapper --

I am so glad to have a broader picture of one of my favorite people! I hope you have your second crop of kids, and a late congrats to Will (?) for graduating!

That post (or, the quote at the beginning) was from someone who posted it on another forum and was unwilling to post it here -- the quote from the PhD friend -- because of possibly causing a ruckus. I posted it (not using the "PhD" part in the subject to assure the person's authority, but because that was all I know of her) because it seemed germane to my experience later in the evening that there are many, even intelligent and educated people whom one would think might have the facilities to step outside of the box a little bit, who really have a much stronger reaction to the word "iodine" than they would to, say, "Vitamin C."

And because I still don't see how Iodine could both treat and prevent goiter, yet cause it.

I have been doing bromine research all day and am trying to think about a class-action lawsuit against "Mountain Don't"....it was actually created here in Virginia!!!!
