I take 500mg niacin for a long time now, I have not been consistent, though. I flush every time I take it. I do not know what is the maximum dose. 500mg feels comfortable to me. I had started with 250mg and doubled it. I have done 1000mg in a day, 500mg in the morning and 500 in the evening.
