salt loading dilemma & spacing out lugols dose - help
i recently started taking
Iodine again. i have sort of tried it on and off a few times since april but have been doing so many cleanses and therapies it got to be a little too much until i really got myself into a routine. now that i know what feelings and reactions i am getting from each therapy, i decided to start taking two drops of
Lugols at night time before bed.
Lugol's is really the only therapy that causes me to feel worse (lots of strange symptoms including heavy sinking feelings throughout my whole body and other really weird uncomfortable things).
so i decided it would be best to take it right before bed when i can sleep right through the weird stuff, which has been working out great so far. i can function all day at work just fine when i do this..YAY! what i do is i take the vitamin c an hr before my dose, and then an hr after and then i go to bed. only started again two days ago though so it is too early to tell.
my questions are...
has anyone come across information from any of the studies that indicated a certain time of day that
Lugols should be taken and if so, why?
for those of you taking small and large doses, do you take them all at once, or space them out all day long? obviously if you are only taking a drop or two like myself, it is probably all at once, but for those taking high doses, how much do you take at once and would you recommend as i increase my dose to continue right before bed or do i have to space it throughout the day??
i cannot do any salt loading til 8 hrs or so after my dose since i am sleeping...is this a problem? i read a few times on these boards that the bromide may not flush out if we do not do the salt loading. i am not experiencing any frontal lobe headaches as of yet, but i am assuming that i should be doing the salt loading anyhow, correct? so does anyone have any suggestions on when i should do this if my dose is at night time?
one more question...
how often do you all salt load? how many times per day? and is the warm water necessary or can we use cold?
sorry...i know this is a lot of questions. any input would be greatly appreciated.
