Not a failure... just learning experience. I never found the info I needed to complete a successful fast program anywhere. There's stuff available, but it is pretty skimpy compared to personal experience. And maybe each persons experience is different and unique to their own personal body's response to the fast. You can ONLY learn these things and only learn them in an effective way you can rememebr by trying -- if it doesn't work examine why -- and try again.
Social situations are also one of my most significant obstacles. I probably started and restarted a Water Fast a dozen times over a six month period before I finally finished one. I still call that a success, because I learned and eventually did a 21 day fast. (Okay I was shooting for 30, but tripped up yet another new way. Still a success because of what I did accomplish and what I learned for next time)
