"As far as your teeth go, wouldn't the oil also soften plaque? making it easier to remove? also, the increased saliva that you make from swishing the oil, wouldn't the enzymes in your saliva help break down the plaque?

And as for your gums, wouldn't sucking, and pulling increase blood circulation in your gums, which could have possiby helped with your bleeding gums?I'm sure you've also used mouth washes without the same results, but do you normally swish mouth wash for up to 15 minutes?"

Possibly yes to all of these. So what? Why does that debunk oil pulling? The original article you posted tried to debunk the fact that OPing cannot pull toxins from the blood stream. So what if that isn't how oil pulling works? So what if just having added saliva in the mouth is what makes the process work? So what if for some unknown reason it helps oral health?
