Re: Debunking oil pulling

My intentions were just to start a debate, seen as I couldn't find one on the debate forum for oil pulling, if I did miss one, I appologize. I just wanted to explore oil pulling on both sides, rather than just the benefits.

As far as your teeth go, wouldn't the oil also soften plaque? making it easier to remove? also, the increased saliva that you make from swishing the oil, wouldn't the enzymes in your saliva help break down the plaque?

And as for your gums, wouldn't sucking, and pulling increase blood circulation in your gums, which could have possiby helped with your bleeding gums?I'm sure you've also used mouth washes without the same results, but do you normally swish mouth wash for up to 15 minutes?

Anyways, not attending to attack anyone here, just wanting some thoughts on what you think.

Btw, you have beautiful teeth.
