antibacterial vs. antibiotics


I have seen oregano oil and coconut oil, among other things, referred to as "antibacterial". Don't these also kill good bacteria as well as bad? I guess I'm basically wondering how naturally antibacterial substances differ from taking a prescribed antibiotic. I do take probiotics, but I still wonder if it's enough.
