Dr. Jarvis wrote two books: 1_ Folk Medicine and then a few years later
_Arthritis and Folk Medicine_. The hand written notebook extracts at

are from a small binder of correspondence drafts he prepared prior to writing a final reply_which he mailed. I have met and corresponded with his daughter who is well into her 90's and very perky.
