I did not want to elaborate further in that post and am glad you brought it up...

a good edible clay could be an alternative as well as a good clean source for kelp or other sea veg or algae... I am sure there are others and people in various geographical locations may need to find different sources given available resources.

I would be willing to bet that these sources would all be MUCH more bio-available than a singular supplement.
