sharp pains?

Hello yall...I'm a fairly new Mirena user (about a few weeks) and I have no children. I've been feeling ok since I've had this thing put it, just a few minor mood swings, mostly crying! Lately, I've been having sharp pains in my pelvic area. It's usually when I move a certain way, or even walk! It's quite annoying, and it really does hurt! I recently had my doctor check to see if the Mirena was still in the right place, and it still is. I can still feel the strings, so I know it's still there, but what could these sharp pains be? I plan on calling my doctor, but I wanted to know if anyone knew what these could be, I don't want to call if it's nothing serious! Thanks in advance for any replies! Tweet
