To answer your questions directly:
1. Can I be absolutely certain? No. Do I believe the product is in any way
"contaminated"? No.

2.Every reasonable attempt is made and continues to be made, by virtue of our choice and knowledge of our supplier's and their process, that we can assure our customer's of the purity of our Lugol's Solution. Considering the cost of government compliance and reporting we would not prepare the product ourselves.

Finally, I want to assure you that by citing Tibetan Medicine it was only to inform you of an alternative method for viewing the cause/s of disease. It had nothing to do with presenting Tibetan Buddhist belief since Tibetan Medicine stands on its own as a complete medical system with or without belief. It is a system of medicine that derives its knowledge, understanding, and practices from Persian, Ayuravedic, and Chinese traditions, as well as its own indigenous origins.
