Re: help!! need to a cleanse but I am still nursing!
You asked a lot of good questions, some I think I can give a valid opinion on, some I'll leave for others with experience in that particular area.
RE: Lauren's question about exposing a babe in utero to parasites, it's my understanding that it's possible if it's the kind of
parasite that can be transmitted in the blood. Otherwise, a baby could certainly be exposed after the birth. Think of the close contact you have with your baby, especially with nursing and diaper changes. Now in many cases, your milk confers at least temporary immunity to your child. This includes immunity to certain parasites. There are so many benefits to nursing, as long as it's working for both of you.
If you become pregnant while nursing, the hormonal changes will reduce your milk supply and encourage weaning. If you decide to cleanse while nursing, RG at Humaworm will offer advice. I agree with Lauren. He's very supportive. (I just purchased his 30 day
parasite cleanse and look forward to using it.) His formula includes the big 3: workwood, close,
Black-Walnut . I'm not sure how well it would work if you reduced one of the main ingredients, but I'm sure he'll advise you on this. He may also have suggestions for what to do until you cleanse. My ND didn't feel comfortable having me take
Wormwood daily for 6 weeks, so that's why I waited. I was taking a full-strength formula. If RG at Humaworm recommends a lighter formula, it might be a go.
RE: gallbladder, I've heard the liver cleanse described as essentially a gallbladder cleanse, even thought it's normally called a liver cleanse. Since you don't have a gallbladder, I don't know how you proceed.
I think skin problems can indicate so many things. Have you considered diet changes or an
Elimination Diet first?
