I agree with everyone else. I had mine taken out last month, I did not have periods for the last 2 years. The receptionist did ask me if or when I would be on my period and I told her I did not have them anymore because of the Mirena. They scheduled me anyway. It did not hurt a bit. Do what you can to get it out.
