Re: David Brownstein, MD, Caution with kelp
The outcome is DEFINITELY 'worth it' (whatever "it" is to us as individuals).
When things become complex and no answer is at hand, the BODY knows what is wrong when nobody else does. Give the body the energy normally utilized in digestion and power-house nutrients in the form of easily assimilated juice...and the body has virtually everything it needs to go to the source and heal, Heal, HEAL!
I'm always SO discouraged by those who say..."but I'm too weak", "it's too hard", "I get so hungry", "I just can't stick with it". I realize that many people haven't experienced the miracles that WILL be had, but juice fasting is the cure for all of the reasons one thinks they can't juice fast. :( :( :(
Did you do only the 'dark green leafies'? Mix them? Other juices?
When I juice fast (I have no blood
Sugar issues), I always attempt to get a gallon of juice in my daily (I rarely hit that mark, but I also drink well over a gallon of water daily)...and I utilize a great variety of juices. I juice them and put them in canning jars - EVERY juice blend gets an
inch or two of 'deep green leafy' in the bottom before I add the others.
Honestly, I've never done straight 'dark green leafies'; I think it's admirable (and worthy of major amounts of praise!) if you juice fasted on ONLY the greenies.
(I'm not supposed to be posting anymore today, so if I don't get back to you, know that I will...it'll just be maybe tomorrow).
Blessings,
Unyquity
