Has anybody actually passed a 7mm, or bigger, **calcified** hard Gallstone?
I have read a lot on this site but can find no stories of anyone who has. I read lots of accounts of people passing 'soft' cholesterol balls but none of hard calcified ones. I'd really like to talk to someone who has.
I had a hard calcified stone in duct (shown on MRI) and doc's believe it is still there because bilirubin levels are still increasing (along with liver enzymes) and are pushing hard for surgery to remove it IMMEDIATELY.
The analyis for the stones I passed over the last few weeks came back today as cholesterol, no calcium. Docs believe it's possible that liquid cholesterol is coming out around the stone and forming into balls in my bowel, meaning blockage is still there.
