Fasting during breastfeeding-if you decide to-better get on IODINE

I would NEVER recommend bottle-feeding over breastfeeding...there are not nearly enough nutrients for the child!

Having said that, though, and being one who breast-fed...I personally went nutritionally deficient breast-feeding my child (and never fasted during breastfeeding) because I was already deficient in IODINE!

I can now connect ALL my ills and whoas (and almost dying due to heart failure) while breast-feeding due to an Iodine deficiency because NOW I'm on Iodine (thanks to the Iodine support forum) and am healthier than ever!

No more palpitations! (which started during breastfeeding)
No more arrythmia! (which started during breastfeeding)
No more s-l-o-w pulse (which started during breastfeeding)

All connected to SEVERE hypothyroidism which is COMMONLY caused by the needs of the growing child (either in utero, or breastfeeding) and IS due to iodine-deficiency!!! The child WILL get the iodine he/she needs from the mother - to the point of the mother becoming deficient! There are ALL kinds of documentation of heart problems coming to fruition only after one gives birth and/or breastfeeds! I can remember reading this most recently on the sudden-death information on the Long-QT Syndrome pamphlets I get in the mail.

I did let the lady know (who started that particular charity, and who lost two children to sudden-death heart failure) of how nutritional deficiencies were the cause of my problems, but unfortunately she angrily and sarcastically told me, "You CAN'T fix a heart problem by simply going to your local GNC and buying a vitamin!"

I never even mentioned GNC...and I felt the way she talked to one trying to "help her cause" to be terribly sad, and detrimental to others!

Sometimes I think that people who run charities don't really want answers, they just want your money. How incredibly sad!
