Re: need direction from knowledgeable people please re: emotionial aspects of candida
Hi,
hang in there man..! I'm 21 years old (pardon my english, I'm not fluent anglophone..) and I write to you, because I share many of the same problems as you do. Physically I suffer from skin problems; first
Acne (16 yo), and then cholinergic urticaria (present), or in layman's terms rashes and hives from exposure to heat, outbreaks includes exercise, tense feelings, hot weather. I'm also very underweight, measuring 202
cm and weighing 80 kgs, and I won't put on weight whatsoever. Anxiety and stress have been burdening me since my childhood, restraining and the inability to express myself freely have really taken away the playfulness that life should have. Sometimes it is like I can get a scent of all the deep-seated anger that lays within me, without being able to release it somehow.
It would be interesting to know if many fellow candida sufferers feel they can relate to the some of the emotional aspects mentioned here, anxiety, indecisiveness, depression, chronic bracing, etc..
If I was you, I would start a candida diet, focusing on balancing digestion and supporting liver and eliminating organs at first. Anti-fungals and probiotics combined in P&B-shakes are useful. Just don't rely totally on supplements like I did in the beginning, it gets very obsessive and also ..expensive, because one thinks that there is a magic bullet to end this misery. Patience is hard when you're young.. And be aware of all the deep-ridden issues and problems that CAN have something to do with candida or a filthy inner terrain. Good healing and feel free to reply!
