I dont know. I do know that the body is good at scavenging and holding on to iodine, so if you've supplemented with any in the past couple months, you wouldn't be as deficient had you not done so (provided you were in fact deficient previously, which is statistically likely). I see no downside to abstaining, nor do I see a downside to following what Drs. Abraham, Flechas and Miller say about dosing amounts. I wish I had a stronger opinion one way or the other for you, but I don't, sorry. :(
