This report claims (and I hope it's right) that 1-2 tablespoons of flax seed is a safe level to consume daily. I supplement with Modifilan, a seaweed product, and eat seaweed for the Iodine since I don't eat iodized salt. Goitrogens impede the absorption of iodine. It seems that almost everything is goitrogenous to some degree!
