I began with 1600mg of Glucosamine and 1200mg of Chondroitin for about 6 weeks. I had a terrible flare up start about 2 weeks ago and this was in between the time that I stopped my Iodoral and started back up at 6.25mg, along with all of the other suggested supplements. Two days ago, I decided to up the dosage of the Glucosamine and Chondroitin one capsule, apiece. I'll notice benefits down the road, I'm sure. I also increased my dosage of Vitamin C up to 3000mg, which I will no doubt increase, again, in a couple of days. Because C is water soluable, any that isn't processed by the body is just expelled through urine.

I also take aspirin for pain management. That's aspirin, not Tylenol or any ibuprophen or acetomenaphin (spelling????). I learned, long ago, from my orthopedic surgeon that aspirin was, he considered, a miracle drug - if one could tolerate taking it, it was far superior to any of the other substitutes, and he was right. I had broken my back and hernaited 2 disks and it was very, very helpful for me. He also advised me AGAINST surgery! Imagine that - a surgeon advising someone against surgery! His reasoning was that, where disk surgery is concerned, a patient will not be any better in 2 years than a patient who did not opt for the surgery. He even explained that the scar tissue would cause more problems down the road than just learning to manage the pain. He was 100% right, I must say.

I wanted to ask you how long it took for you to be properly diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I've been experiencing symptoms of the roooomatizz for years and not one doctor made the connection between my symptoms and an autoimmune condition until recently. Sheeeeeeesh, it makes me just cringe when I think of having to go to the doc for any reason, ya know?
