It's smart to take it easy on your joints while you are experiencing pain. Do you take essential omega 3 oils??? These can often help if your pain is trigured by inflammation. I've read that it's important to combine the omega 3 plant based oils with fish oil to get the anti-inflammitory benefits. I have had chronic pain for years due to fibro and have learned to exercise through the pain as it helped improve sleep and keeps everything mobile but not everyone can do this. At it's worst my fibro responded well to magnesium and Epsom Salt baths. Massage therapy can bring some relief as well. The only thing that worked consistantly though,was the sauna therapy. Does your gym have a sauna??? I haven't had any fibro pain for 18 months now.
Iodine has been my most economical detox therapy and I hear you about the cost of detox. My sauna is a 2 person wood FIR. It cost about $2000 Canadian but has been worth it.
