Our Iodine is U.S.P. and prepared for us by a DEA and FDA approved Lab.It is not "the same stuff" as the Clarkson product or the Science Company. Preparing your own Lugol's is possible but considering the the new wave of legal scrutiny for purchasing basic raw materials and elements I have to say good luck!
