Re: Fibromyalgia
Hi Molly,
Costo is nasty and ever so persistant. I'd just about given up on it ever going away. My swelling is very prominant so I was able to visually see improvement. I've also given up most grains, dairy, peanut butter and the big one was sugar. Alcohol as well seems to cause inflamation but I'm to much a social drinker to give that up but have found taking 4
oz pure cranberry juice prior to indulging seems to help my liver along. I'm very active (skiing ,mountain biking, running etc) and it was while going up a very aggressive incline that I felt like I was having a heart attack. All I can say is I was very thankful to find out I had costo not heart problems.
I have had much success with the sauna therapy, fasting and dietary changes but I believe
Iodine was a key puzzle piece to my inflammation mystery. I'm still taking about 100mg at least 5 days a week with no detox symptoms. I'm feeling pretty confident about this and may increase again but the gut is telling me to stick to this dose for the time being.
Everybody has such different reactions but each person brings a different set of cirrcumstances to the table so finding common variables can be difficult.
Good luck with the costo and I hope things get better with the iodine.
Cheers
Sojo
