Hey 461 --

I would bet it's OP stirring up a low-lying infection. I had the same thing happen in my second week of OP last fall -- swollen lymphs, throat, etc. -- and it did go away. I think I was using sesame and some oregano oil. I went to the doctor about the same time with a mouth sore (that I think was elicited by the oregano oil in my OP mix), and he felt my neck/throat and said, "You've got a really bad infection!" He prescribed Antibiotics , but it did go away on its own. Had I known about xylitol's antibacterial properties then, I would have tried it -- and, had it persisted any longer I would have used the Antibiotics .

I believe we have to be careful of those infections because we, and our bodies, will tolerate them more so than, say, a strep infection. They can really leave you low-energy, and also keep the immune system constantly challenged and less able to "focus" on other stuff.
