The message you received is badly twisted - and I have seen other instances of the facts getting miss-stated. Makes me wonder whether someone or ones are trying to cloak the real truth and actually work against those who favor access to natural alternative supplements and treatments!
What is happening is that April 30th is a cut off date for public comment on proposed new FDA "guidelines" - and yes, there is reason to be concerned. The FDA already has the right to ban supplements and alternative treatments that they classify as medicine. The new guidelines would give them even more of a free hand, while also being so vaguely written and contradictory that one shudders at how the FDA storm troopers might mis-use them.
