Re: cheese and nuts?
I think the cheese is because of the milk ( sugars ). I honestly can't even recall now why though. I have always eaten cheese and it never bothered me except for certain kinds. MOLD has always been the issue for me! I can't eat ones from my health food store or good lord--- I pay the price!! lol. But the ones from Publix are fine for me. Those damn cheese sauces you get on food at restaruants bother me too. I don't know why except perhaps there again, they've been sitting around God knows where and have a higher mold content...or perhpas they add Sugar
to them?? You know how most people want their food...it has to be dripping with grease and sugar.
Nuts are also a dicey thing sometimes because of the mold on them. Peanuts are supposed to be the worst because of the way they are stored in bins for ages. Nuts bother me some even still even though I'm soooo much better than I used to be. They're very healthy though so you could always experiment and see how you do. You can also try soaking them before eating to make them more digestable.
Do you eat any grains at all? Brown rice is usually very tolerable for most people. I eat lots of brown rice. I used to love millet bread too but became allergic to it because my gut is leaky ( malabsorption ) and I ate it all the time for like 6 years! lol. It's hard to rotate foods when you've nothng left to rotate ( I had been ill for too long when I realized how to correct my health ).
Are you on the cave man version of the diet? Gosh I have always tolerated carrots so long as they weren't juiced by themselves.
